Our Story
Nearly a century farm (purchased in 1928 by great-grandparents, John and Helene Bell), Red Bell Farms is located in southwest Missouri between Mount Vernon and Miller along Staul Creek.
Red Bell is small dairy farm offering grass-fed raw A2 milk fresh from Guernsey cows, and fresh beef from SimAngus beef cows.
Owner-operator Roxanne, grew up on the property where as a child they ran hogs, beef, and crops. From an early age, Roxanne, like her father, grandfather, great-grandfather, before her, knew farming was her calling. At 10 she would frequently watch her neighbor milk his cows and has since always had a deep love for the dairy cow. At 29, she bought her first dairy cows and began a life of commercial milking. In 2008, milk prices forced her to sell her cows and dairy farm in Miller, Mo and return to her grandparents farm by purchasing 212 acres from her father.
After running beef cattle on the home farm for 10 years, Roxanne realized she missed milking and chose to buy two certified A2 Guernsey cows and began selling raw milk direct to customers on the farm.
Since then, it has become a family business with her daughter, Emily joining the business in 2020 to help care for their beloved Guernseys and beef cows, and keep the farming legacy alive.
